NKHS (Northeast Kingdom Human Services, Inc.) is a comprehensive community mental health, addictions/substance abuse and intellectural/developmental disability services provider serving the needs of Essex, Caledonia and Orleans counties. We are a consumer-governed, community-based non-profit agency.

The mission of NKHS is to enrich communities and enhance the ability of individuals and families to improve their lives.

We provide programs for:

• Adult Mental Health Services
• Addictions/Substance Abuse Services
• Emergency and Enhanced Emergency Services (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
• Community Rehabilitation and Treatment
• Intellectual/Developmental Disablity Services
• Children, Youth and Family Services
• Consultation, education and outreach.
