ST. JOHNSBURY OFFICE OF ECONOMIC & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The St. Johnsbury Office of Economic & Community Development (OECD) is a department of town government that promotes overall development in the community.
Its activities include assisting existing local businesses and new start-ups, obtaining and administering grants for public and private projects, offering "gap" financing to qualified businesses that cannot meet all their borrowing needs through conventional financing, steering businesses to technical assistance at the local and state levels, offering information about available commercial vacancies and real estate development opportunities, working with other development organizations in the area and providing general information for the benefit of St. Johnsbury residents and businesses.
