Burklyn Arts Council is a private, not for profit organization that brings the arts to the schools and communities of Lyndon, Sutton, East Haven, Sheffield, Wheelock, Burke, and Newark, Vermont. Fifteen trustees direct the council's activities along with help from members and community volunteers. Two craft fairs each year, featuring juried Vermont craftspeople, support our programs.

Non-proft, volunteer-based, drop-in recovery center for people recovering from and looking for recovery and substance abuse. Location was the birthplace and boyhood home of Dr. Bob (Robert Holbrook Smith), co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, the second largest group in the world.

Lyndon Area Sports Association is the governing organization of the Fenton Chester Ice Arena, the home rink of local hockey associations, high schools and colleges, and a facility for large events, such as the Home Show. The arena features a snack bar, refurbished locker rooms, pro shop and new bleachers, plexiglass, boards and rubber matting on the floors. Please join us from Mid-October to Mid-March for public skating.

The Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District (NEKWMD) is chartered as a municipality serving 37 area towns. The district assists the residents and businesses of the NEKWMD in the proper handling and disposal of their wastes. The Lyndonville facility is where recyclable materials collected at area transfer stations and recycling centers are processed and marketed. Our mission is fostering communities of strong women, supported families and safe homes.
